  The Family of Philip V by Louis-Michel van Loo THE ART         The portrait of The Family of Philip V by Louis-Michel van Loo in 1743, was created in France. It is an oil on canvas painting with dimensions of 408 x 520cm. As this portrait portrays the family of the Spanish king and members, they are all wearing extravagant clothing. The background remains dramatic and royally sought with Roman arches and columns and a marble floor with dimensional designs. The style is influenced by the greco-roman elements of architecture. Spring is Showing throughout the Italian Renaissance

  La Primavera by Sandro Botticelli THE ART          The piece; La Primavera , made by Sando Botticelli was created in Florence, Italy in 1482. It is tempera on wood with the dimensions of approximately 202x314 cm. As Primavera also means 'Spring' it is one of the largest mythological paintings made during the Renaissance era. Sandro was one of the most well-known of the Medici employees . Also believed that he was paid to create it for the marriage of a cousin related to Lorenza the Magnificent Medici. He was very proficient with the use of line work and color.           This piece shows 9 mythological figures surrounding a group of orange trees that were used variously in Botticelli pieces.   Water Lily Pond by Claude Monet   THE ART         Water Lily Pond was painted around 1900 by Claude Monet in which it originated in France. This piece has been exhibited in several museums as well. The painting is an oil on canvas, with the dimensions of 89.8 x 101cm. Monet bought a property in Giverny, a village within the regions of Normandy. There he began his creation of a beautiful garden, including a pond behind his house. This pond had a Japanese-style wood bridge going across it, surrounded by all kinds of plants. He was famous for water lilies and this garden being "one of his principal subjects for the rest of his life." (Water Lily Pond) This wasn't the only piece that had correlation with his garden but 18 similar versions were created within 1899-1900.
